Last SLC trip we went to the discovery Gateway Museum and played, played, and played. Loch and Emily had a blast!. From playing in the water to riding in cars and sitting in the helicopter. What fun!

We went to Jumpin Jacks the other day. It is a large warehouse full of bounce houses and inflated slides. Though it took awhile for Lochlan to realize the fun of this magical bouncy place, he found a buddy and jumped & bounced until he dropped. What fun!

We went to the Entrada Christmas party and enjoyed a nice BBQ dinner. But the biggest surprise was that Zach had been honored as the Entrada Employee of the Year!

Presents Under The Tree…

This year we have started a new tradition for the Kelly house. We were fortunate to be able to help children who may not have received a special gift under the tree. Our neighbors introduced us to a lady that has been doing a Santa program to children that deserve a Christmas day surprise. We shopped for a couple families, one had a 12 yr old girl that likes clothes and make up. So we found her a really cute hoodie with a fur lined hood, some earrings, lip-gloss, and a scarf for the cold season. Our other family was a couple of brothers 17 & 8. The 8 yr old really wanted a Nerf gun, so we were able to find him a fun gun and some extra ammo. We also purchased some text messaging toys from Discovery Kids that we picked up at Costco that he may enjoy. But what was really humbling was the 17 yr olds wish list was new socks:( So he will find plenty of new socks under the tree. Teenagers we not the easiest to buy for but we had a good time looking and asking other shoppers what they would like to have. After the wonderful shopping experience we came home and looked around with what we had that we might be able give and we had an old Xbox and some games sitting in the closet that may be the real surprise for the two brothers. We really had a wonderful experience and it really excited us into the Christmas Season.

Lochlan fell in love with the train set at Barnes & Noble so we knew exactly what he would love for Christmas. We let him open it early because we are NOT packing it up to SLC and the box was to big to let sit around. Needless to say he has been a happy conducter. (We love Costco) making our Christmas shopping easy.

We celebrated Lochlan’s birthday over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had so much fun with everybody in town and it is always so special when Lochlan can run and play with his big cousins. We want to thank Gma & Gpa Garner for all of the wonderful gifts and the wonderful time when you were in town. Lochlan loves his freedom:) Thank you Gma & Gpa Kelly for all of your thoughtful gifts & Buzz, always a hit. Brett, Natalee & the Boys, Thank you for the match game, cars & puzzles. Staci, Rob & Miles thanks for coming over and love the movies. And Thank you Uncle Bracken the Sanitation Truck was a great idea, love it. He later fell of the swing and it came back and hit him in the head and he bit his lip hard enough that it bled. Poor guy had to learn the hard way not to play on the swing.
